Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Location: Burleson, TX )

Pay: $18-$20/hr (pay increase once converted to permanent employee)

Shift: 8am-5pm (Mon-Fri)

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to manage incoming and outgoing products, ensure correct paperwork accompanies all shipments, and maintain organized inventory throughout the facility. This role involves unloading steel trucks, distributing parts to work areas, and resolving inventory issues, all while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.

ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming products and restock shelves in assigned locations.Ship products using various carriers.Ensure paperwork accuracy for all shipments, both incoming and outgoing.Unload steel trucks and place steel in correct locations.Pull and distribute parts for work orders throughout the shop.Distribute parts and components to work in process areas in the plant.Verify accuracy of work orders and picking sheets.Resolve inventory issues efficiently.Maintain clean shelves and floor areas using an electric scrubber.Perform additional duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience in inventory management.Proficiency in operating a stand-up forklift.Ability to use RF scanners.Experience in warehouse operations.Strong attention to detail.Customer-focused with a sense of urgency.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in tool refurbishing.Data entry skills.Ability to operate a pallet jack.Understanding of clerical tasks.Must be able to work in extreme elements.Must be able to follow all PPE requirements.Why Work Here?

The role is based in an industrial warehouse that is not climate controlled. You will work within a team environment, where collaboration and efficiency are key.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
