**Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk - 1st Shift** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, where you will play a key role in assisting with daily inbound and outbound shipments. This position involves working closely with our Shipping Manager to ensure the efficient and accurate processing of orders. **Responsibilities** + Pick and pack orders per customer requirements. + Package boxes of orders. + Label boxes accurately. + Load boxes onto the shrink wrap machine to prepare for shipment. + Load boxes onto pallets for shipping. + Load pallets onto trucks for delivery. **Essential Skills** + Experience in packing orders for customers. + Ability to read a pack slip and package envelopes into boxes. + Experience operating a forklift, including both sit-down and stand-up models. + A self-starter mindset with minimal need for constant direction. + Basic math skills for counting inventory and matching to BOL from customer orders. + Possession of a valid driver's license. **Work Environment** Our company, family and woman-owned since 1985, offers a large facility with a warehouse and shipping area near the front/dock doors and production on the other side. The environment is loud but well-lit, and while not climate controlled, industrial fans keep the area comfortable.
