**Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk** **Job Description** The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing paperwork for truck drivers, including creating and printing bills of lading, securing trucker signatures, and scanning documents into the management system as needed. The Clerk creates receivers for incoming materials, enters information into the computer system, prepares material identification tags, and ensures tags match the materials. Additionally, the Clerk may identify inventory shortages and pull work orders to replenish stock. The role involves utilizing computer systems to create and print open order reports, shipment packing lists, and other related reports. **Responsibilities** + Administer required paperwork for truck drivers including bills of lading. + Secure trucker signatures and scan documents into the management system. + Create receivers for incoming materials and enter into computer systems. + Prepare and hang material identification tags ensuring they match materials. + Identify inventory shortages and pull work orders to replenish stock. + Utilize computer systems to create and print open order reports and shipment packing lists. + Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling. **Essential Skills** + High School Diploma or GED equivalent. + 1-3 years of experience operating a forklift required. + Experience using forklift or overhead crane. + Basic math skills and general knowledge of computer programs. + Detail oriented with ability to inspect material for quality conformance. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Overhead crane experience is a plus. + Inventory management using barcodes preferred. + Experience with SAP, ERP systems, and warehouse inventory management. + Familiarity with data entry and Microsoft Office. + Skill in material handling and order selection. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
