Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an Order Kitting Material Handler to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have 12–18 months of experience in material handling, order kitting, and warehouse operations. Experience operating forklifts, using SAP or similar systems, and maintaining an organized work environment will ensure success in this role.
Job Title: Order Kitting Material Handler
Location: Grand Prairie, TX
Pay: $20.63 + shfit differential
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
3pm - 11:30pm
Receive, store, inventory, pick, pack, and distribute materials and products within the warehouse.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Assist with shipping and receiving — unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
Read work orders, transfer orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
Move materials from receiving or storage areas to shipping or designated locations.
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to SAP documentation.
Assemble orders from stock and place them on pallets or carts for shipment or production.
Move parts kits from staging areas to production points using material carts, forklifts, tuggers, or other means.
Record quantities of materials received or distributed using SAP or a similar system.
Assist in physical inventory counts.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, by sweeping, dusting, and mopping.
What’s Needed?12–18 months of warehouse or material handling experience
Stand up Forklift experience
Knowledge of SAP or similar inventory management systems
Ability to read, write, and understand English
