Job Description

Join a dynamic team within the Transportation Operations department, where you will play a key role in managing daily freight movements into and out of North American fulfillment centers. ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with multiple parties to ensure high levels of customer service.Communicate tactically with external customers including carriers and vendors/suppliers.Extract and analyze data from various databases using tools like Excel, Access, and SQL.Review reports related to appointment and arrival times to make informed business decisions.Create narratives outlining weekly findings and present them in review forums.Lead initiatives to improve business processes and eliminate root causes of defects.Escalate problems or data variances to relevant owners and ensure resolution.Develop performance metrics to drive business results.Understand business trends and make data-driven decisions.Essential SkillsStrong customer service skills with a focus on operations.Proficiency in using MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.Excellent problem-solving abilities in logistics, transportation, and supply chain.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in transportation and logistics is a plus but not required.Customer service experience, including de-escalation and problem-solving.Analytical skills with comfort in handling calls and resolving issues.Experience in managing customer accounts, conflict resolution, and escalation calls.Work Environment

The role requires working 100% in-office with training hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm for the first two weeks. After training, the work schedule remains Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
