**Description**

Responsibilities:
•Transact customer orders using both carrier and ERP systems.
•Providing quality control inspections, as necessary, within the workflow.
•Package and tape international shipments in multi-pack cartons for export.
•Affix shipping labels on packed cartons.
•Take an accurate inventory count at end of each day.
•Serve as a back-up order picker as needed.
•Assemble cardboard cartons as needed for large, multipack shipments.
•Move prepared shipments from shipping cart to dock door as needed.
•Call and/or email forwarding companies to arrange pick-up.
•Consign shipments to forwarders and ensures the correct shipments are consigned to the forwarder by listening carefully and checking documents.
•Other duties as assigned.
Secondary Functions:
•Maintain good communication and rapport with co-workers.
•Ensure shipping area is kept organized and neat.
•Keep supervisor informed of issues on the shipping floor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tigard, OR.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
