Job Title: Shipper & Receiver 2
Job Description

Perform shipping and receiving assignments by following specific directions and using standard procedures. Responsibilities include receiving, loading, unloading, picking, inventory control, stocking products, and consolidating and replenishing products throughout the warehouse. The role focuses on safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping to meet daily goals and objectives.

ResponsibilitiesReceive and verify documentation, SKU numbers, quantities, and overall quality from vendors.Stock products from vendors and plants into bulk locations.Consolidate products with the same SKU numbers in bulk locations.Pull bulk products and place them in pick zones.Consult with Inventory Control to resolve stock issues.Retrieve specified products from pick locations to ship.Transfer cartons from shipping lanes to stack onto pallets for loading.Meet and maintain department quality and productivity standards.Drive power industrial equipment as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills1-2 years of warehouse experienceProficiency in shipping and receiving, order picking, and pallet jack operationsExperience with RF scanners and electric pallet jacksBasic computer skills and understanding of distribution operationsAbility to read, comprehend information, and count inventory accuratelyComfortable working in 3-level modules and not afraid of heightsAbility to lift up to 40 pounds repetitively and frequentlyAbility to stand and walk for extended periods and climb stairs throughout shiftFlexibility to work overtime with little or no noticeAdditional Skills & QualificationsMinimum 2 years of verifiable experience in a manufacturing or distribution environmentPrevious power industrial vehicle experience preferredThorough knowledge of safety expectationsAbility to support resolution of complex problemsEffective communication skills and ability to work with a diverse staffCapability to represent the organization and collaborate with peersAbility to anticipate problems and recognize opportunities for improvementWhy Work Here?

1st shift, Monday to Friday, with some potential overtime. The facility is a new, air-conditioned 400,000 sq ft warehouse.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
