**Job Title: Shipper and Receiver (Nights)** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our shipping and receiving department on the manufacturing floor. This role requires a strong ability to comprehend and follow work instructions, loading schedules, and production tickets. You must effectively understand and follow verbal instructions, communicate clearly and respectfully with coworkers and management, and thrive in an ever-changing, fast-paced team environment. **Responsibilities** + Stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day, with potential for overtime. + Lift heavy products or raw materials up to 120 pounds multiple times per hour during an 8-hour shift or longer, as required. + Team-lift heavy loads to meet customer demands. + Maintain a work pace that supports the integrity of the make-to-order system. + Operate within a fast-paced manufacturing plant engaged in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience in Shipping/Receiving. + 5+ years of forklift experience. + 3+ years of packaging experience. + Experience working in a manufacturing environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency in forklift operation. + Experience in inventory management. + Skill in material handling, loading, unloading, and packaging. + Familiarity with RF scanner operations. **Why Work Here?** You will receive comprehensive benefits and have the opportunity to work in a clean, safe, and supportive environment that values continuous improvement and employee well-being. **Work Environment** The position operates in a clean warehouse environment during the 2nd shift from 4 PM to 12 AM, with a full 8-hour shift and a 30-minute lunch break. Currently, shifts are extended until 2 AM. The environment includes exposure to high noise levels, hot raw materials, fire-retardant materials, and limited chemicals. Personal Protective Equipment is required and provided by the company. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
