Job Title: Shipper and Receiver

Location: Surrey, BC

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Job Description

This position is responsible for the full cycle of shipping and receiving, order picking, inventory control, and material handling. The role involves forklift operation, order processing in SYSPRO, vendor/carrier coordination, and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse. This is a highly physical, accuracy-driven role with strong cross-department interaction.

Responsibilities

Pick components based on sales orders and prepare shipments accurately.Load/unload trailers and trucks using forklift and manual handling.Receive inbound goods, verify quality and quantity, and stock safely.Process outbound and inbound documentation in SYSPRO and carrier portals.Confirm shipment accuracy through counting, weighing, and comparing to packing lists.Inspect incoming goods for defects and coordinate with Production when issues occur.Complete and submit all shipping/receiving paperwork.Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, post-job counts, and consumption tracking.Safely organize, store, and handle materials using manual handling and forklifts.Interact with truck drivers, internal teams, and occasionally customers.Review and interpret work orders, routings, material requirements, and prints.Maintain positive, professional communication with all departments.

Essential Skills

2+ years of industrial shipping/receiving or warehouse experience.Valid forklift certification.Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a physical environment.Basic computer and documentation skills, ERP experience is an asset.Experience in inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

ERP proficiency, with a preference for SYSPRO.Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.Effective communication with vendors, drivers, and teams.
