**Job Title: Shipper and Receiver** **Shift:** Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm **Wage:** $23.50 to $24.50 **Job Description** This position is a contract role from June 25 to July 15. It involves supporting shipping, receiving, picking, and material handling to ensure production is stocked. **Responsibilities** + Operate equipment such as Sit Down and Stand Up Counterbalance forklifts, Rider pallet jacks, and Manual pallet jacks, approximately 70% of the time. + Receive ingredients and packaging materials, inspect for damage or shortages, document, unload trucks, and stage items for storage. + Stage orders for shipping, wrap and load trucks with outgoing shipments, and document transactions. + Conduct inventory counts, ensure products are staged for FIFO (First in First Out), and document inventory details. + Pick orders for shipment and ingredients for production lines to maintain continuous production flow. + Handle materials by delivering ingredients to production lines and returning finished products to the warehouse. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 2 years experience in shipping, receiving, and picking. + Forklift certification for Sit Down Counterbalance, Stand Up Counterbalance, and Rider Pallet Jack. + At least 6 months of experience operating SDCB forklift and rider jacks. + Proficient English communication skills, both verbal and written. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience operating sit down/stand up counterbalance, rider jack, manual jack is an asset. + Experience with inventory work and cycle counts. + WHMIS certification. + Experience in food manufacturing. + Knowledge of FIFO (First in First Out) and food safety protocols. + Attention to detail. + Ability to work independently and effectively communicate and collaborate with the team. + Honest, trustworthy, and friendly demeanor. **Why Work Here?** This role offers a host of benefits including a 3% RRSP match, employee assistance program, and a yearly boot allowance.
