**Job Title: Shipper and Receiver** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our shipping and receiving department on the manufacturing floor. This role requires the ability to comprehend and follow work instructions, loading schedules, and production tickets. Effective communication with coworkers and management is essential, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing team environment. **Responsibilities** + Comprehend and follow work instructions, loading schedules, and production tickets. + Understand and follow verbal instructions. + Communicate clearly and respectfully with coworkers and management. + Stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day, or longer during overtime. + Lift heavy products or raw materials up to 120 pounds multiple times per hour. + Team-lift heavy loads as necessary. + Maintain a work pace that supports the integrity of the make-to-order system. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience in shipping and receiving. + 5+ years of forklift experience. + 3+ years of experience in packaging. + Experience working in a manufacturing environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency in material handling, loading, unloading, and packaging. + Experience using RF scanners and picking systems. **Why Work Here?** Employees will receive comprehensive benefits, including health and wellness packages. The work environment involves exposure to high noise levels, hot raw materials, fire-retardant materials, and limited chemicals. Personal Protective Equipment is provided for any hazards. The company engages in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices to ensure a safe and efficient work area. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
