**Based in Truganina, this is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in our new purpose-built, fully automated sorting and retrieval warehouse and mega distribution centre in Melbourne’s West.**
We’re currently on the lookout for a passionate **Shift Leader** to join our Co-Pack team working on **Afternoon Shift** , with flexibility to support day shift as required. Reporting into the Area Lead for Co-Pack this role is responsible for the Shift operations within the Co-Pack area.
**How you will contribute**
+ Actively contribute to operational meetings, providing updates and reporting on the delivery of KPIs.
+ Labour management for the shift, partnering with internal recruitment teams and 3P labour agencies.
+ Partner with broader teams and operators to understand RCA (root cause analysis) of critical or high frequency issues, supporting the implementation of corrective actions.
+ Support a high performing team culture, through effective training and regular coaching conversations.
+ Lead a safety first approach, proactively coaching team members on safe work procedures, hazards and incident management.
+ A passion for continuous improvement playing a key role in the site’s implementation of IL6S (lean manufacturing).
**What you will bring**
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:
+ Experience leading a high performing, engaged team within a manufacturing environment (GMP environment)
+ A safety-first mindset
+ Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement processes and implementation.
+ Working knowledge of SAP (advantageous)
+ Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (excel/word)
+ The ability to navigate ambiguity, taking a proactive approach to problem solving
