What you will do: 

Demonstrate the ability to adhere to and remain in compliance with all safety rules and PPE requirementsSuccessfully complete classroom and DOJO training Read, understand, and work from blueprints, schematics, bills of material, routing sheets, applicable OMS documents, and other written, electronic, or verbal instructionWork with materials to complete assigned tasks to meet production requirementsOperate tools and equipment to assemble, test, handle, manipulate and move components, assemblies, and final productUse measuring and testing devices as well as visual inspection to ensure the quality of products and conformity to all prints, work instructions and Quality standardsRead and understand a level toolMaintain required records including quality checklists, inputs into specified electronic systems and reporting of all line issues into the appropriate data collection systemsSuccessful completion of required skills training (e.g. crane and tugger operation, fall protection, etc.)Preventive Maintenance daily on all welding equipmentPerform MIG processes 2G (Horizontal), Pipe (Turntable), 3G (Vertical down), and Auto weldWeld SAW 1G (Flat)Weld GTAW 2G (Horizontal) & 3G (Vertical)Weld 2G (Horizontal), 3G (Vertical Up) & 4G (Overhead) FCAW (Flux core welding)Use a plasma cutter and /or carbon arcMake minor ASME repairsMust be able to perform all skills at the beginner levelOperate the small and large rollers to roll flat steel into shells and reroll shellsMust be adept in operation of SAW & GTAW weld for general purposes, and specifically for usage on shellsMust possess the skills involved with and the ability to perform circumferential welds on shellsSequentially, needs to be skilled in docking shells, combining shellsProperly measure, check required dimensions on materials, items that are being worked onFinal certification test will be the employee’s ability to pass all ASME weld test listed above

Qualifications: 

The ability to read and understand written EnglishHigh School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environmentThe ability to use hand tools for extended periods of timeThe ability to read a variety of measuring devicesThe ability to read blueprintsThe ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPEMust pass skills assessment
