Milton G. Waldbaum and Dan Gardner founded our egg-processing business in 1950 here in Wakefield. The first will be working with FSQ on egg quality-based assessments including testing and tanker inspections. The second will work with the farm managers and supervisors to evaluate water quality and water treatment options. Other projects may be added. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** The **Farm** Intern’s duties will include: + Inspecting tankers and collecting samples + Developing and presenting a tanker inspection SOP + Collecting and plating egg and water samples + Assessing current water sanitation practices + Identifying areas of water quality improvement + Developing water sanitation programs + Presenting findings + Support management as needed. + Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:** + Current or recent enrollment in an undergraduate degree program with an interest and aptitude to work in the poultry production. + Preferred enrollment in the Midwest Poultry Consortium Center of Excellence program.
