The ideal candidate will have experience in installing sheet metal for structural buildings and will play a crucial role in the construction of our new fertilizer containment facility. **Responsibilities** + Install sheet metal panels on walls and roofs of steel structure buildings. + Measure, cut, and fit sheet metal panels to specified dimensions using metal shears and snips. + Secure sheet metal panels to structural components using self-tapping screws and other fastening methods. + Install trim pieces around windows, doors, and corners to ensure a clean and professional finish. + Install insulation between sheet metal panels and structural components as required. + Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. + Inspect installations to ensure panels are securely fastened and free of gaps or leaks. + Work closely with other team members, including welders and construction workers, to ensure project completion on time and within budget. **Essential Skills** + Proven experience in sheet metal installation for structural buildings. + Proficiency in using metal shears, snips, and other sheet metal tools. + Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in sheet metal installation. + Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. + Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in welding and blueprint reading. + Industrial or commercial experience. + Knowledge of roofing techniques. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values quality workmanship, teamwork, and safety.
