Sheet Metal Technician
**Job Title: Sheet Metal Technician** Job Description Join a dynamic team as a Sheet Metal Technician, where you will be responsible for hands-on maintenance and structural repair of aircraft, with a particular focus on sheet metal work and mechanical systems. This position is ideal for those passionate about aviation and with a strong experience in rotorcraft. Responsibilities + Perform routine maintenance and structural repair to airframes, including sheet metal work, riveting, patching, and painting. + Maintain, repair, and modify aircraft structures, structural components, and engines. + Service aircraft components such as flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components. + Apply technical knowledge of A&P systems to identify equipment malfunctions and restore equipment to operational condition. + Interpret technical data, including blueprints and manufacturers' manuals. + Troubleshoot and repair aircraft mechanical components and replace components as needed. + Perform aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repairs, and assess the functionality of non-complex electrical systems. + Utilize aircraft tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes, and sheers. Essential Skills + 5+ years of sheet metal experience. + Helicopter experience, preferably with AW139 models. + Proficiency in using aircraft tools and interpreting technical data. + Knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting and repair procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Composite experience is a plus. + Possession of an FAA-certified Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic certification is preferred. + Experience with commercial/civil rotary wing aircraft maintenance is advantageous. + An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. Employees will be working with specialized tools and equipment in a structured setting, focusing on aircraft maintenance and repair tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bensalem, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
