**Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic with 1-3 years of experience to join our project in Richmond, VA. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including reading blueprints, installing material, and working on projects with durations ranging from 6 months to a year. Candidates are required to bring their own hand tools to the job site. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements. + Install duct work and related equipment efficiently and accurately. + Perform layout tasks for duct and equipment placement. + Measure and cut duct work using hand tools. + Maintain and clean work areas to ensure safety and efficiency. + Lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs. **Essential Skills** + Experience in sheet metal, HVAC, and duct work. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. + Ability to install and fabricate duct work. + Skilled in the use of hand tools and tape measures. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Perform laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of systems and equipment. + Ability to climb, reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently. + Must have reliable transportation and a positive attitude. **Why Work Here?** The company offers a supportive environment with strong growth opportunities.
