**Job Title: Metal Mechanic** Job Description We are seeking a licensed metal mechanic for a year-long project involving the construction of two multi-family residential apartment buildings. This project includes a 100-unit building and a 200-unit building. You will be part of a 14-person crew, responsible for roughing, installation of PVC storm lines, PEX tubing, and various fixtures. Responsibilities + Collaborate with a 14-person crew to complete project objectives. + Assist in roughing and installation of PVC storm lines and PEX tubing. + Install fixtures as required by the project specifications. + Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation. Essential Skills + Proficient in plumbing and installation techniques. + Experience with PVC and PEX tubing installation. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Possession of SM1 and SM2 qualifications. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Must bring OSHA 10 certification and license on the first day. + Experience in working on large-scale residential projects. Why Work Here? There is no opportunity for overtime or weekend work at the moment, but this may change in the coming months. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Hartford, Connecticut. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
