Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Metal Mechanic to install HVAC systems on commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will be adept at hanging, cutting, bending, and shaping sheet metal, as well as cutting openings in walls and floors to accommodate duct runs using hand and power tools.

ResponsibilitiesInstall HVAC systems on commercial construction projects.Hang, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal.Cut openings in walls and floors for duct runs using hand and power tools.Assemble and install sheet metal ducts, filters, and hangers.Join ducts and fittings using screws, bolts, drives, solder, caulk, and weld joints.Essential SkillsProficiency in sheet metal work and HVAC installation.Ability to read blueprints.Experience with duct work and sheet metal fabrication.Familiarity with construction tools and methods.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in running a crew and managing project layouts and takeoffs.Commercial project experience, particularly with projects ranging from 30x30 to 108 in size.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
