**Job Title: Journeyman/Foreman Sheet Metal Installer**
**Job Description**
We are seeking experienced Journeyman/Foreman Sheet Metal Installers with 5-10 years of experience in commercial and industrial construction. Candidates should be motivated, self-starters with a positive attitude. The role involves installing hanging straps, round and rectangular ducting, uni-strut hangers, air handlers, and ductless split systems, often working on ladders and scissor lifts.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install assemblies such as flashing, pipes, tubes, heating and air conditioning casings in supportive frameworks.
+ Select gauges and types of sheet metal or non-metallic material according to product specifications.
+ Drill and punch holes in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets.
+ Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites using shears, hammers, punches, and drills.
+ Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts using hand tools and portable power tools.
+ Perform additional tasks as needed, including trash, scraps, cleanup, and relocating material.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of sheet metal installation experience.
+ Experience in commercial and industrial construction.
+ Proficiency in installing rectangle, square, round, spiral, rigid, and flex ductwork.
+ Ability to handle sheet metal tools and equipment.
+ Blueprint reading and understanding of mechanical construction.
+ Good physical condition and strength to work in awkward spaces.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Diploma from a trade school or successful completion of an apprenticeship is a plus.
+ Valid Driver's License.
+ OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
+ Ability to work individually and with a team to complete projects.
+ Ability to complete high-quality work under tight deadlines.
+ Must have reliable transportation and necessary tools.

**Work Environment**
The majority of work is performed on commercial properties, including health departments, medical facilities, and legal offices. The role requires working on-site with standard safety equipment and adhering to safety protocols.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
