**Sheet Metal Installer - Carlsbad, CA (Legoland)** Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Sheet Metal Installer, working alongside skilled professionals on commercial projects throughout San Diego County. Your primary responsibilities will include installing hanging straps, square, round, and rectangular ducting, uni-strut hangers, air-handlers, and ductless split systems, often requiring work on ladders and scissor lifts. You will also be expected to manage general tasks such as cleanup and material relocation as needed. Responsibilities + Install hanging straps, square, round, and rectangular ducting. + Install uni-strut hangers, air-handlers, and ductless split systems. + Work efficiently on ladders and scissor lifts. + Ensure site cleanliness by managing trash and scrap materials. + Relocate materials as required to facilitate project progress. Essential Skills + Proficient in HVAC ductwork installation including square, round, rectangular, and spiral ductwork. + Ability to interpret blueprints for mechanical installations. + Journeyman level experience in sheet metal ductwork installation. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Minimum 4-8 years of HVAC sheet metal experience. + Predominantly commercial project experience. + Own all necessary sheet metal hand tools and a cordless power drill. Work Environment Work on a commercial project at Legoland, utilizing advanced tools and equipment in a collaborative and industrious setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
