**Job Title: Field Technician** Job Description Join our team as a Field Technician, where your expertise in HVAC systems and sheet metal will be pivotal. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and starting up HVAC units, as well as working with ductwork and sheet metal. This position requires a keen eye for detail and proficiency with various hand tools. Responsibilities + Hang duct work and cut, measure, and install ducting. + Perform startup of HVAC units and preventative maintenance, including changing filters and belts. + Conduct visual and audio inspections to ensure units are functioning properly. + Install sheet metal and work with tools such as hammers and cordless drills. + Select appropriate materials based on strength requirements. + Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to specified dimensions. + Measure, cut, weld, and connect pieces according to specifications, blueprints, or directions. + Secure seams by riveting, rolling, soldering, or using steel screws. + Perform assembly line tasks such as punching holes for screws or bending gutters. Essential Skills + 3+ years of experience in installing sheet metal and HVAC systems. + Proficiency with hand tools and basic installation techniques. + Experience or interest in learning HVAC startup, including changing filters and belts. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to braze and work with sheet metal. + Commercial or industrial work experience. + Ownership of personal hand tools. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
