Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Sheet Metal Helper to assist on commercial job sites, specifically for a project at VA Tech. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain experience in the sheet metal and HVAC industry while contributing to significant projects.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in the installation and construction of ductwork on commercial job sites.Work closely with sheet metal and HVAC professionals to ensure project success.Interpret and follow blueprints accurately to support project requirements.Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.Adapt to outdoor weather conditions as required by the job site.Essential Skills1 1/2 to 2+ years of experience in mechanical trades.Proficiency with sheet metal and HVAC systems.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience with ductwork installation.Competency in using hand and power tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in construction and mechanical environments.Knowledge of safe working practices in outdoor settings.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The position requires working on the first shift from 7am to 3pm, Monday through Friday. The role involves working outdoors, adapting to varying weather conditions, and utilizing mechanical tools and equipment on commercial job sites.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roanoke, Virginia.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
