Job Title: Sheet Metal Fabricator

Job Description

Join our team as a Sheet Metal Fabricator, where you will work in a shop environment focusing on HVAC-related parts such as ductwork, connectors, fittings, and custom components. Your primary responsibility will be to fabricate these parts from sheet metal using machine operations, assembly, and both hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Fabricate HVAC-related parts from sheet metal.Operate machines including press brake and shear machines.Assemble components using hand and power tools.Ensure quality and precision in fabrication processes.

Essential Skills

Experience in HVAC, sheet metal, and production.Journeyman or 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year Apprentice Sheet Metal Worker.Proficiency in using press brake and shear machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Basic tools: Snips, folding pliers, tinners hammer.Installation experience is an asset if combined with shop work.Experience with lock formers.

Work Environment

Work in a transit-accessible shop environment with a day shift from 7am to 3:30pm and an afternoon shift from 11pm to 7:30pm. Be open to both shifts as you will start on days and may move to afternoons after the holiday break. Join a team of 12 individuals, many of whom have been with the company for over 10 years. Overtime is available after 40 hours, though it is not guaranteed while on contract.

The pay range for this position is $23.40 - $36.00/hr.
