Medical Laboratory Technician

Job Description

This role involves performing a variety of lab tests classified under CLIA-88, drawing blood, interpreting microscope results, and collecting specimens.

Responsibilities

Perform lab tests classified under CLIA-88.Draw blood samples as needed.Interpret results through microscope analysis.Collect and handle specimens efficiently.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in medical laboratory procedures and lab testing.Experience in clinical testing.MLT certification or CMA with lab experience.Associate degree in medical laboratory technology or completion of a recognized Clinical Laboratory Technology course.Certification, or eligibility for certification, as MLT (ASCP) or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

One year of lab experience preferred.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours between 7:30 am and 5:30 pThe position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, a 401(k), and PTO.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
