**Job Title: Sewing Operator**
Job Description
+ As a Sewing Operator, you will apply your skills and dexterity in the sewing of tissue and non-tissue components, as well as the tissue processing required to produce medical devices.
+ Your work will align with regulatory and company guidelines to ensure high-quality production.
+ 1st Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am to 3:30pm
+ Sitting role
Responsibilities
+ Utilize tools such as needles, scissors, forceps, specialized tooling, and a microscope to perform assigned steps in the sewing assembly of valves.
+ Execute tasks including receiving, trimming, fixation, die cutting, and measurements for Porcine Pericardium tissue following released procedures.
+ Operate equipment like a fume hood, Litematic, and press for tissue processing.
+ Perform verifications against specifications for completed steps and execute work efficiently in an assembly line.
+ Review, follow, and perform job functions in compliance with established work instructions and adherence to SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history records.
+ Support activities related to other work procedures as needed to aid operations processes.
+ Assist Engineering in root cause analysis investigations for component nonconformance.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with sewing, particularly in a medical device or cleanroom environment.
+ Proficiency in using a microscope for detailed assembly tasks.
+ Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma.
+ At least 3 years of previous experience in a cleanroom setting, preferably within the medical device industry.
+ Sewing experience is advantageous.

This is a Permanent position based out of Irvine, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $52000.00/yr.
