Job Title: Machine Set Up & Operator

Job Description

Join our dynamic Teflon department where you will work with a variety of powders to mix and press into cylinder shapes. These are then formed into seals or rings using various machining tools and a range of tooling.

ResponsibilitiesOperate machines to mix and press powders into cylinder shapes.Use various machining tools to form products into seals or rings.Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production.Conduct quality checks to maintain high standards.Utilize measuring tools for precision in manufacturing processes.Essential SkillsProficiency in machine operation.Ability to read and understand blueprints.Experience with measuring tools.Mechanical aptitude.Capability to conduct quality checks.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Continuous attention to operations.Ability to lift 25 lbs.Attention to detail.Must be a US Citizen due to the nature of the business.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a union environment with exposure to wet, dirt, or other conditions while in production areas, though generally not disagreeable. Safety is a priority, requiring steel-toed boots and safety glasses.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hanover, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $61318.40 - $61318.40/yr.

PAID HOLIDAYS -- 12 holidays per calendar year and 2 personal holidays per Union contract year
VACATION – 2 weeks’ of vacation after completing 6-months of employment; vacation resets on 1/1 of each calendar year
RETIREMENT/401(K) PLAN – Option to invest your contributions on a Pre-tax or Roth (After-tax) basis. Automatic enrollment at 3% unless you elect differently.
Automatic 3% company contribution into your account on a per pay period basis (regardless of your
participation, 1 year vesting)
HEALTH CARE BENEFITS (effective 1st of month following or coincident with date of hire)
