Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking an **Servicenow Technical Consultant** to join their team. As an **Servicenow Technical Consultant** , you will be part of the Infrastructure and Application Architecture support team, focusing on the tooling and automation of the Incident Management ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have innovative thinking, strong collaboration skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Location: Jersey City, NJ/Richmond, VA (Hybrid -3 days onsite per week)**
**Position type: 12+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion**

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient **ServiceNow Technical Consultant** to join our team. This role requires hands-on experience with ServiceNow implementations, deep technical integration expertise, and a strong understanding of ITIL-based Incident and Problem Management processes. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative communicator, capable of working across multiple teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead and execute the **technical implementation** of ServiceNow modules, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
+ Design and develop **custom integrations and workflows** within the ServiceNow platform to support enterprise-scale ITSM environments.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ServiceNow with other IT operations tools.
+ Translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices.
+ Provide **technical leadership** in ServiceNow architecture, scripting (JavaScript, Glide), and configuration.
+ Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize ServiceNow usage and performance.
+ Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including **managing upwards** to leadership.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ **Hands-on experience** with ServiceNow implementation and configuration (minimum 3–5 years).
+ Proven expertise in **technical design and code-level integration** of ServiceNow within large, complex IT environments.
+ Strong understanding of **ITIL processes** , especially Incident and Problem Management.
+ Excellent **communication and stakeholder management** skills.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS-ITSM, CAD).
+ Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs).
+ Familiarity with other ITSM tools and ecosystems (e.g., BMC Remedy, Jira, Splunk).
+ Experience in Agile or DevOps environments.
