We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Platform DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. This role combines platform administration, development, and security-focused operations. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in platform upgrades, system monitoring, and ServiceNow development, with a strong understanding of platform security and operational best practices.

 

Responsibilities:

Execute platform upgrades, patching, and post-upgrade validationsMonitor instance health and performance; proactively address performance and stability issuesManage instance cloning activities, including preserve rule configuration and post-clone checksInstall, configure, and support MID Servers, covering both infrastructure and agent-level functionalityDevelop and maintain custom applications, flows, business rules, UI policies, script includes, and other platform components using JavaScript and Glide APIsSupport integrations via REST, SOAP, and MID Server orchestration with a focus on secure implementationManage credential-related configurations and authentication integrations using Azure AD and LDAPImplement and enforce ServiceNow security best practices across the platformCoordinate with networking and security teams to validate firewall rules, proxies, DNS, and certificates required for MID Server and platform operationsContribute to CI/CD efforts through code deployment, automated testing, and change managementMaintain detailed documentation for platform configurations, system architecture, and standard procedures

Requirements:

At least 3 years of development experience on the ServiceNow platformAdvanced scripting skills with strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow development patternsSolid experience with platform administration tasks including upgrades, cloning, and performance optimizationExpert-level understanding of MID Server setup, maintenance, and troubleshootingFamiliarity with secure authentication systems such as Azure AD and LDAPUnderstanding of network concepts (firewalls, proxies, DNS, certificates) relevant to platform and MID Server operationsExposure to Agile or DevSecOps methodologies, including CI/CD pipelinesStrong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) strongly preferredAdditional certifications such as Certified Application Developer, Discovery, or IntegrationHub a plusExperience working with ITSM and ITOM modules in enterprise environments

Additional Requirement:

Must be able to work during EMEA business hours (3 PM – 11 PM) to support distributed global teams and platform operations
