SERVICENOW DEVELOPER (HUDSN):
Bowhead seeks a ServiceNow Developer to support the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Enterprise Service Delivery (ESD) modernization program, enabling enterprise-wide services related to Human Resources, IT, Facilities Management, Financial Management, Acquisitions, and more. This role supports HUD’s mission to consolidate platforms, improve service delivery, and enhance customer experience through scalable ServiceNow solutions. This role is fully remote.
Responsibilities Develop and deliver ServiceNow applications to meet various business use cases across HUD.Implement required ServiceNow Products and relevant third-party ServiceNow native applications (to include, but not limited to: Nuvolo, Proven Optics, and potentially other applications), and create applications.Collaborate with external system teams and support integration-related changes to ensure interoperability between ServiceNow and connected enterprise systems.Implementation of use cases involves the full end-to-end lifecycle of software development, which shall include all activities related to requirements refinement, development, testing, deployment, and system administration including reporting progress on project as a whole.Experience with ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts).Experience with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.Familiarity with ServiceNow data model and CMDB concepts.Experience working in multi-instance environments (Dev/Test/Stage/Prod).Familiarity with conducting internal code reviews.Own and develop project documentation, including release documentation.Collaborate effectively within Agile/Scrum delivery teams, leading/contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning, and continuous improvement efforts.Familiarity with conducting customer demonstrations on the ServiceNow platform.Familiarity with JIRA or similar project/task management tool to track work, manage dependencies, and communicate status.Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for process improvements.Use an agile software development methodology to deliver the ServiceNowapplications based on the prioritized backlogs. Qualifications BA/S in relevant field or equivalent professional experience. Three to five (3+) years of experience as a Developer or Engineer across any relevant disciplines including cloud software development, PaaS, or SaaS.ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is preferred.ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required.
