Service Truck Assembly Technician

As a Service Truck Assembly Technician, you'll play a crucial role in assembling service truck bodies, wiring lights, and ensuring optimal performance. Responsibilities:

Assemble service truck bodies with meticulous attention to detail.Drill holes and wire lights and other components to ensure functionality.Perform minor wiring to tail lights for optimal performance.Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely.Install wooden floors onto truck bodies with precision.Inspect floor surfaces to ensure evenness for smooth installation.Clear imperfections by sanding and scraping to achieve a flawless finish.Perform measurements to determine floor size and estimate covering materials accurately.Drill holes to platforms to fasten wood securely to the frame.Assist with the installation of truck bodies or platforms to ensure structural integrity.

Essential Skills:

Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.Mechanically inclined with a strong understanding of assembly processes.Previous assembly experience in a similar role.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MIG welding experience is a plus but not required.Any welding experience is advantageous.Experience with blueprints, troubleshooting, and automotive repair.Knowledge of diagnostic testing, auto body, construction, electrical schematics, oil changes, and fabrication.

Work Environment: This is a 1st shift opening with hours from 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Enjoy a consistent schedule and work-life balance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
