Aerotek is currently seeking a full-time Field Service Technician to service and maintain seismic and ground-penetrating radar systems at mining sites throughout Elko and Salt Lake City.

The Field Service Technician will perform scheduled monthly service and trouble-shoot seismic equipment and radar system while in operation.

This is remarkably interesting work, the service technician will work on state-of-the-art equipment. The seismic and ground radar systems require monthly service and calibration to ensure optimal operation. The service technician will work outdoors and interact with managers at mining sites; will have the support of

factory trained personnel located in Salt Lake City and Denver.

The Service Technician will also perform preventive maintenance of support equipment such as small generators and other small back up equipment.

The service technicians will travel to mines in Elko, NV, and surrounding towns, about 70% traveling and 30% working from home while filing reports and

documentation.

Will take company vehicle home and pay while driving to job sites.

Requirements:

Computer skills: the service technician must be computer literate and feel comfortable working with Office 365, Linux skills are helpful.Must have technical formal education in the Electronics field OR equivalent experience. 2 years of experience as a technician in the electro-mechanic’s fieldA stable work history and referencesExcellent at handling customers in a professional wayValid driver’s license, company will provide company vehicle.Able to travel for work.

Shift:

Day shift, usually Mon-Friday, occasionally some weekends; or stay overnight during the busy season.

Pay:

$60-75/K +Direct-hire, not a contract job.

Traveling expenses paid and bonuses; will pay higher salary for a more experienced Technician.

The company will provide a company truck, laptop, credit card for expenses, cell phone, etc.

Candidate must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and back ground check.
