**Job Title: Service Technician (LA)** **Job Description** As a Service Technician, you will respond promptly to service calls and perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and necessary repairs. You will ensure the quality of all products by checking syrup levels, changing out flavors, and cleaning around machines. Maintaining inventory and equipment such as parts, tools, and vehicles is essential. You will review service orders with supervisors, keep managers informed of customer needs, and document all work performed. Clear communication with customers and co-workers is crucial for success in this role. **Responsibilities** + Receive and respond promptly to service calls. + Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot service problems. + Ensure product quality by checking syrup levels and changing flavors. + Maintain inventory and equipment such as parts, tools, and vehicles. + Review service orders and work performed with supervisors. + Keep managers informed of customer concerns and up-selling opportunities. + Document all work performed and close out activities upon completion. + Ensure point of sale material is up-to-date. + Communicate clearly with customers and co-workers. + Responsible for machine movement and other assigned duties. **Essential Skills** + Knowledge in refrigeration, repair, and mechanical systems. + Experience with commercial ice makers and beverage equipment maintenance. + Ability to perform field service efficiently and effectively. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Recent HVAC graduate or two years of related experience. + Knowledge of refrigeration is required. + EPA certification to handle refrigerant is a plus. + Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record. + Ability to lift 55 lbs regularly and occasionally lift 70 lbs. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy the convenience of a company-supplied work van and a gas card.
