Used Car Technician

The Used Car Technician is responsible for performing automotive repairs and service in accordance with store and factory standards.  This individual utilizes their skills to diagnose and resolve the different sources of automotive problems swiftly and accurately.  The Used Car Technician works with all Service personnel and management to ensure the satisfaction of our customers.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on all makes and modelsPerform engine, drivability, and electrical diagnosticsComplete used-car reconditioning and repairs efficientlyUse scan tools and diagnostic equipment to identify root causesWork collaboratively with the GM, service and used-car teamsMaintain accurate repair documentationIdentify cost-effective repair solutions while minimizing unnecessary parts replacement

Qualifications:

Automotive repair experience requiredStrong diagnostic and electrical knowledgeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProblem-solving mindset with attention to detailASE certification a plus but not needed Valid driver’s license requiredAvailability to Monday-Saturday
