Service Technician
On-Site We are seeking an experienced **Calibration Service Technician** to join our Beaverton, OR repair center. In this role, you will perform both routine and complex tasks related to the repair and calibration of test, measurement, and diagnostic instrumentation. You will work on instruments returned for factory service, with repairs spanning from modular troubleshooting to component-level diagnostics. Our fast‑paced, high‑energy environment encourages continuous learning, growth, and meaningful contributions to ongoing process improvement. **Key Responsibilities** + Diagnose, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair customer-returned equipment at the modular and component level + Perform maintenance services on a wide range of electronic test and measurement instruments + Communicate repair trends, product failures, and recurring issues to the appropriate teams to support product quality and customer satisfaction + Directly interface with customers requiring repair or limited calibration support + Escalate unusual or complex product issues to engineering or specialized support groups + Complete calibration data sheets with accuracy, efficiency, and compliance + Maintain documentation for customer requirements, quality records, ISO compliance, and reporting systems + Adhere to all Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures + Participate in daily scheduling, visual management, continuous improvement initiatives, and basic problem-solving activities + Perform additional support duties in an organized, efficient manner as needed **Required Qualifications** + 2–4 years of relevant electronic repair or calibration experience + Strong customer service and communication skills + Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting workloads + Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel required) + Familiarity with calibration standards such as **ANSI/NCSL Z540** or **ISO/IEC 17025** **Preferred Qualifications** + Associate’s Degree in Electronics Technology or a related technical field + Ability to troubleshoot electronic assemblies down to the component level + Familiarity with Tektronix and Keithly product instrumentation + Strong soldering and PCB rework skills + 2‑year technical certification or equivalent training + Hands-on experience with test, measurement, and diagnostic instrumentation + Military metrology/calibration training (PMEL or TMDE) **Ralliant Corporation Overview** Ralliant, originally part of Fortive, now stands as a bold, independent public company driving innovation at the forefront of precision technology.
