Job Title: Service Technician

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated service technicians to construct modular units commonly found at construction sites. In this role, you will be responsible for building the entire unit and assembling furniture such as desks and chairs, as per client requirements. This position is ideal for individuals with a mechanical inclination and experience in using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Build temporary office units for construction sites.Assemble furniture and other requested items inside units.Work primarily inside the facility with occasional outdoor tasks.Utilize hand and power tools effectively in the construction process.Apply framing and carpentry skills to complete unit construction.Leverage any HVAC, electrical, or plumbing experience as needed, but understand it will not be a daily task.

Essential Skills

Experience in construction, framing, and carpentry.Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC is a plus but not required.

Work Environment

You will work in a clean, covered facility about 85% of the time, with some outside work accounting for 15%. Typical work hours are Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4:30 pm with occasional Saturday shifts. The workweek is approximately 50 hours due to increased demand currently but will decrease to about 45 hours once fully staffed. Dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, and steel-toed shoes, with the rest of the PPE provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
