Medical Device Service Technician

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and technically skilled Medical Device Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the testing, repair, and documentation of medical devices while supporting quality processes, inventory management, and cross‑department collaboration. Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Service & RepairsPerform warranty and non‑warranty repairs based on work ordersComplete all required paperwork and service documentation accuratelyTest, troubleshoot, and verify device functionalityDisinfect incoming devices according to established protocolsInventory & Parts ManagementMonitor spare parts inventory and initiate reorders as neededParticipate in routine inventory cycle countsQuality & ComplianceAssist the Quality Management Representative (QMR) with quality management processes and incoming complaintsMaintain strict adherence to quality, occupational safety, and environmental regulationsFollow instructions from the quality/environmental management representative and occupational safety specialistCross‑Functional SupportCollaborate with Sales and R&D teams as neededPerform additional tasks as assigned to support department operationsQualificationsExperience in technical repair, electronics, or medical device servicing preferredStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracyAbility to follow strict safety and quality protocolsExcellent problem‑solving and communication skillsAbility to work independently and within a team environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Sarasota, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
