What You’ll Be Responsible ForInstall, set up, and commission large, high-precision CNC machine tools at customer sites
Lead machines from mechanical assembly through final fine-tuning, testing, and customer acceptance
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues in the field
Program, parameterize, and optimize control and drive systems from various manufacturers
Set up and calibrate measuring and testing equipment to verify accuracy and performance
Train customers on machine operation, maintenance, and best practices
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, alignments, and re-alignments
Partner with engineering and production teams to implement improvements and enhance customer satisfaction
What You BringTechnical training as a Mechatronics Technician, Industrial Mechanic, Electronics Technician, or a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
(Significant hands-on experience may substitute for formal education)
Experience assembling, installing, or servicing industrial machinery
Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components, and controls
PLC experience (IEC 61131-3) is a plus
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and circuit diagrams
Analytical, solution-oriented mindset with a strong customer focus
Comfortable working independently in the field or collaboratively with a team
Clear communicator with customers and internal teams
Willingness to travel extensively within North America (with occasional international travel)
English proficiency required; German language skills a plus
