**Construction Technician – 1st Shift (6:30AM–3PM)** **Pay:** **$18–$25/hr** **Location:** **Shakopee, MN** **About the Role** **We’re looking for hard-working construction technicians to handle general labor and repair work in a shop/yard environment. This role starts with basic labor duties and can grow into a full service‑tech position.** **What You’ll Do** + Clean and prep construction trailers + Load/unload materials + Perform demo work + Assist with basic carpentry + Once trained: perform framing, finish carpentry, light electrical, plumbing, flooring, painting, and other repair tasks + Inspect units and document repair needs + Complete service paperwork + Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area + Support yard tasks as needed **Ideal Candidate Has:** + High School diploma or GED + Ability to work independently and stay productive + Basic carpentry skills, Light electrical, plumbing, or HVAC experience + Ability to use a computer or smartphone + Own basic hand tools + Reliability and strong work ethic + Valid driver’s license **Work Environment** + Indoor/outdoor shop setting + General construction tasks on modular buildings + Steel-toe boots required + Long pants + PPE (hard hat/vest available on-site) **Schedule** **1st Shift:** 6:30AM–3:00PM, Monday–Friday **Growth Opportunity** Strong performers can move from general labor into full service-tech roles handling higher‑skill repair and inspection work. **Call Kat Swiggum at 763 923 2758 to schedule an interview!** **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hopkins, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
