Service Technician $23 an hour

Job Description

This role involves working as a mechanical technician responsible for repairs and installations on dock equipment, warehouse racking, and conveyor systems. We seek individuals with a well-rounded mechanical aptitude who can troubleshoot and repair mechanical-related issues.

Responsibilities

Conduct repairs and installations on dock equipment, warehouse racking, and conveyor systems.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical-related issues.Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment functionality.Work with various mechanical components, including bearings, pulleys, gears, and gearboxes.

Essential Skills

At least 1 year of experience in a mechanical maintenance role.At least 1 year of experience troubleshooting mechanical issues.Experience working with mechanical components such as bearings, pulleys, gears, and gearboxes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with dock-related equipment, conveyors, or racking systems is a plus.Skills in welding and interpreting blueprints are advantageous.

Work Environment

This role requires traveling to various warehouse-type companies, primarily working inside warehouses. The majority of work involves dock equipment and some conveyor systems. The position offers a dynamic and hands-on work setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $52000.00/yr.
