**Service Technician** **Job Description** This position involves installing CO2 gas monitors in various locations such as restaurants and gas stations across Illinois. The installation process is simple, utilizing CAT 5 cabling. The technician will maintain records of serial numbers for customer tickets and monitors, requiring organization and effective communication skills for daily face-to-face interactions with customers. The role includes servicing existing systems and requires climbing ladders and using power tools. **Responsibilities** + Install CO2 gas monitors using CAT 5 cabling. + Keep track of serial numbers for all customer tickets and monitors. + Communicate effectively with customers during face-to-face interactions. + Climb ladders and use power tools to service existing systems. + Drive personal vehicle to multiple service locations daily. + Report to the shop in Lemont and perform scheduled stops. **Essential Skills** + Power tools usage + Cable installation + Mechanical aptitude + Troubleshooting and repair + Service-oriented skills + Ability to read blueprints **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
