Service Technician
**Job Title: Service Technician** **Job Description** The Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing both electrical and mechanical issues in heavy equipment. This role involves facilitating inspections and repairs to ensure optimal functioning. **Responsibilities** + Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues in heavy equipment. + Conduct inspections and repairs on Link-Belt Excavators, Sakai, Gorman-Rupp Pumps, New Holland, and Takeuchi equipment. + Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure equipment reliability. + Utilize schematics, blueprints, hand tools, power tools, pneumatics, hydraulics, and wiring for service tasks. **Essential Skills** + Expertise in heavy equipment and diesel engine repair. + Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. + Experience in preventive maintenance, assembly, and repair. + Knowledge of construction and field service operations. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Possession of relevant certificates in the field is a plus. + Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and various tools. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that offers top-quality benefits including a $4,000 sign-on bonus, employee stock ownership plan, health and dental coverage, company-paid life insurance, long-term disability coverage, tool allowance, paid time off, paid holidays, uniforms, laundering, safety shoes, and annual celebrations. **Work Environment** The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings, providing a dynamic and engaging atmosphere for team members. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, Tennessee. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
