Job Title: Service Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician who will perform installation, electromechanical troubleshooting, repairs, adjustments, and modifications to high voltage circuit breakers. The role involves substantial travel within the US and occasionally internationally, with a typical work schedule from Monday to Friday. When not traveling, you will report to the office in Charleroi for standard 8-hour workdays.

ResponsibilitiesPerform installation and initial startups of industrial circuit breakers.Conduct mechanical work in electrical substations.Inspect equipment, structures, and materials to identify errors or defects.Service, repair, and adjust parts of equipment operating largely on mechanical principles.Analyze information and evaluate results to select the best solution and resolve customer issues.Engage in physical activities requiring dexterity and agility.Support factory production as needed.Operate man lifts, cranes, and reach fork trucks.Complete paperwork such as Field Service Reports, timecards, and expense reports accurately and timely.Essential SkillsAssociate's degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology or 4-5 years of hands-on experience.Ability and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time via air travel and car rental.Experience in electrical and mechanical installation, repair, and field service troubleshooting.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred experience in troubleshooting and repair of electrical control circuits.Preferred experience in mechanical assembly of circuit breakers.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The role involves working primarily outdoors on substations at solar sites. When traveling, workdays can extend from 10 to 14 hours, whereas non-travel days at the Charleroi office are standard 8-hour shifts. The position requires working in varying weather conditions, operating equipment such as man lifts and cranes, and adhering to safety standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $63000.00 - $83200.00/yr.

They offer 3 different benefit packages for health/dental/vision, match 50% of what you contribute to your 401k up to 8% (they'd match 4), offer 3 food trucks on site Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday for all employees, paid holidays, financial advisor and health coach available.
