Job Description
Join our team as a Service Technician, where you'll be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing ground transportation equipment. Your role will involve significant interaction with customers, guiding them on the operation of our manufactured equipment.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and diagnose problems with various ground support equipment at customer locations.Perform repairs and adjustments to components and operating systems on products and equipment.Disassemble and reassemble components with limited assistance.Collaborate with customer teams to resolve issues effectively.Provide training and support to customers for proper equipment operation and repair.Professionally interact with both internal and external customers, maintaining a strong customer service approach.Inspect, repair, and overhaul components such as electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Complete service repairs, service bulletins, and training classes.Potentially travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.Essential SkillsMinimum 3 years of service repair experience in ground power, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills.Experience with diesel powered vehicles preferred.Proficiency in troubleshooting using repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Basic computer skills.Valid driver’s license and ability to travel internationally.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.Experience with PLC and HVAC systems.Ability to lift weights exceeding 50 pounds.Capability to work in all weather conditions.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Experience a dynamic work environment that includes both a shop setting and working in the plant and outdoor areas. Based in Boise, Idaho, this role involves traveling throughout the Western States. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
