Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team in the Bay Area. This role involves the installation of water treatment equipment at various offsite customer locations. The position requires day shift work from 6 AM to 2:30 PM.

ResponsibilitiesInstall water treatment equipment at customer locations.Utilize general mechanical skills and hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and power tools.Communicate effectively with customers.Drive to offsite locations, accounting for 30% to 40% of the role.Operate a company-provided vehicle, requiring a Class C license.Essential SkillsMinimum 5 years of experience in plumbing, mechanical work, installation, troubleshooting, and service.Mechanical aptitude .Experience in equipment installation.Plumbing, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsPassion for fixing things, including home renovations, cars, parts, and troubleshooting.Knowledge in electrical work, blueprint reading, and maintenance technician duties.Ability to lift and use hand tools efficiently.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work onsite at a water treatment facility known for being wet, spacious, and exposed to fumes and airborne particles. The environment is loud/noisy, requiring PPE such as steel toe boots, gloves, and safety glasses.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Jose, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00/hr.
