**Job Title: Service Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential for overtime. You will be servicing commercial buildings, including warehouses, medical facilities, and offices. The role involves drywall repair, painting, ceiling tile repairs, and flooring repairs, while adhering to safety programs and performing preventative maintenance on various items and functions. **Responsibilities** + Perform drywall repair, painting, ceiling tile repairs, and flooring repairs. + Assemble, install, and/or repair mechanicals, plumbing, carpentry, machinery, structural elements, roofing, and painting. + Maintain project schedule, cost, and quality. + Communicate directly with subcontractors, suppliers, and owners. + Read and interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs. + Ensure maintenance repairs conform to quality standards, laws, and regulations. + Operate trade tools and maintain accurate inventory of materials and tools. + Wear safety equipment and observe all safety practices and guidelines. + Keep required paperwork, including daily reports, mileage, expenses, and timesheets. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 3 years’ experience in general service maintenance. + Basic working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. + Ability to diagnose and fix minor repairs and troubleshoot onsite issues. + Experience with hand tools, power tools, drywall, and home maintenance. + Ability to climb ladders and work with basic technology (email, mobile phones, and digital photos). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between multiple properties. + Proactive and positive attitude. + Team player with a professional and friendly demeanor. + Ability to work some nights and weekends, as well as travel on an as-needed basis. **Why Work Here?** This role offers an opportunity to become a permanent employee after six months.
