Job Title: Service Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Service Technician, where you will work from Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday, from 7 am to 4 pm, for 40+ hours a week. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on over ten different types of slushie beverage equipment. The service area extends as far west as Mt. Airy, south to the South Carolina border, and east to Jacksonville.

ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance and repairs on slushie beverage equipment.Work alongside a full-time employee during the contract period.Conduct maintenance activities such as defrosting slushie machines, emptying barrels, and cleaning syrups.Handle service calls addressing common issues like CO2 leaks, syrup leaks, and barrels not freezing.Attend and pass the Frozen Carbonated Beverage University training in Tennessee after six months.Drive a van and work autonomously on service calls after conversion.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting.Experience in repair and HVAC.EPA Certification is required.Mechanical troubleshooting of beverage equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsHVAC-R certification is preferred.Must be willing to travel for training.Work Environment

The work schedule includes shifts from 7 am to 4 pm, with the flexibility of choosing between two working schedules. You will initially work alongside a full-time employee and later transition to autonomous service calls. The role includes traveling within a broad service area and attending specialized training in Tennessee.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
