Job Description
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and coordinating repairs on industrial kitchen and food manufacturing equipment. This includes meat and food processing as well as packaging equipment.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and diagnose issues with industrial kitchen and food manufacturing equipment.Coordinate and perform repairs on meat and food processing and packaging equipment.Schedule repair appointments with customers.Procure necessary repair parts from inventory or approved vendors.Complete repairs efficiently and effectively.Clean machines and surrounding areas to ensure cleanliness upon completion.Submit completed and signed work orders promptly for processing and billing.Essential Skills2+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems or equivalent schooling.Ability to pass DOT physical.Possession of some personal tools.Valid driver's license.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in field service, maintenance, and preventive maintenance.Skills in troubleshooting and mechanical systems.Knowledge of HVAC and hydraulics.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Repairs are conducted both at client sites and in the shop, with a typical work distribution of 60% on-site repair at customer locations and 40% in-shop repair. The working hours are generally from 7am/8am to 5pm/6pm, with occasional on-call and weekend work being very rare.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
