Job Title: Service Technician
Job Description

The service technician will work onsite performing repairs and modifications on high-end modular units used as offices, schools, and more. The role involves skilled repairs in HVAC, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and other areas, including tasks like finish trim, framing, drywall installation, wall paneling, batten, ceiling tiles, and painting. A background in construction or facilities maintenance is ideal.

ResponsibilitiesPerform HVAC repairs and modifications.Conduct electrical repairs and modifications.Handle plumbing repairs and modifications.Execute carpentry tasks including framing and finish trim.Install drywall and wall paneling.Paint and maintain modular units.Use circular saws, pneumatic tools, framing nailers, and cordless drills effectively.Essential SkillsAt least 2 years of experience in electrical work (110v is acceptable).Proficiency in using hand and power tools.Knowledge of HVAC systems.Understanding of OSHA safety regulations.Additional Skills & QualificationsCertifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing are highly valued.Mechanical experience in installation or repair.Carpentry and painting skills.Troubleshooting and repair skills in electrical systems.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Service technicians will work outdoors building trailers/modules in Selma, TX. The work is not affected by weather conditions like typical construction jobs. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with two breaks and a lunch. Overtime is available during the busy season (May-September), though weekends are typically free. Technicians will drive a company vehicle to and from work sites, with travel up to three hours.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
