Job Description

Aerotek is hiring immediately Diesel Mechanic for a commercial construction company. This position will involve maintenance on CDL trucks, and various heavy machinery; excavators, loaders, dozers, back-hoes, etc. Company work truck will be offered in this role. This position is full time offering competitive pay and benefits!

Monday to Friday (7am-3:30pm)

ResponsibilitiesService and oversee repairs of all types of equipment at the job site.Conduct preventive maintenance.Perform safety inspections on equipment.Maintain a safe shop work environment and company vehicle.Adhere to all company, governmental, and equipment-related safety requirements.Perform other duties assigned by the manager.Essential SkillsHeavy equipmentDieselHydraulicsTraveling Mechanic5+ years as a road mechanicBasic Hand ToolsAdditional Skills & Qualifications4+ years' experience as a mechanic with diesel equipment, hydraulics, and weldingTrade school or technical training desirable - experience with Cat, Kenworth, and KomatsuDOT Physical Examination (Medical card) along with Hydraulics License requiredCDL License would be helpfulAbility to diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment problemsMust have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving recordMust be physically able to work in extreme conditions on job sitesOn-call and some overtime workWork Environment

You will work 40-50 hours a week. You will have a company truck for this opportunity.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
